PhD student position in a neurobiology lab at the University of Haifa

The lab for The Neurobiology of Psychiatric Disorders at the University of Haifa seeks an ambitious and excellent PhD student to submit a request for an institutional stipend. The lab studies the underlying molecular and cellular mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders and neurostimulation.

The lab uses transgenic mice models and primary cell cultures and employs ex-vivo extracellular and intracellular electrophysiology, live imaging techniques (two-photon microscope), confocal immunofluorescence microscopy, biochemistry, next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics and mathematical modeling.

Highly motivated and bright students with a background in engineering / physics / chemistry / molecular biology / neuroscience or any related subject are welcome to reply. Fluency in oral and written English is necessary.
