Procurement Buyer - Mechanical / Electronics / Construction

Leading Defense Company | Center District, Israel

A leading defense company in central Israel is expanding its procurement team and recruiting for 3 separate Procurement Buyer positions in the following domains:

• Mechanical Procurement
• Electronics Procurement
• Construction & Infrastructure Procurement

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes within the relevant domain
• Issue RFQs, conduct commercial negotiations, and execute supplier agreements in accordance with company procedures
• Work closely with subcontractors and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Project Management
• Create and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and expedite supply according to project schedules and operational needs
• Identify and evaluate suppliers, manage ongoing supplier relationships, and support cost reduction initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management / Logistics / Economics - advantage
• 5+ years of experience as a Procurement Buyer or Supplier Manager in technological, industrial, electronic, mechanical, or construction environments - mandatory
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management - mandatory
• Relevant technical understanding in one of the following domains: mechanics, electronics, or construction/infrastructure - mandatory
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and standard computer applications - mandatory
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic multi-interface environment
