Procurement Buyer - Mechanical / Electronics / Construction

Leading Defense Company | Center District, Israel

A leading defense company in central Israel is expanding its procurement team and recruiting for 3 separate Procurement Buyer positions in the following domains:

Mechanical Procurement
Electronics Procurement
Construction & Infrastructure Procurement

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement processes within the relevant domain
Issue RFQs, conduct commercial negotiations, and execute supplier agreements in accordance with company procedures
Work closely with subcontractors and cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Project Management
Create and manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and expedite supply according to project schedules and operational needs
Identify and evaluate suppliers, manage ongoing supplier relationships, and support cost reduction initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management / Logistics / Economics - advantage
5+ years of experience as a Procurement Buyer or Supplier Manager in technological, industrial, electronic, mechanical, or construction environments - mandatory
Proven experience in supplier negotiations and contract management - mandatory
Relevant technical understanding in one of the following domains: mechanics, electronics, or construction/infrastructure - mandatory
Strong proficiency in ERP systems and standard computer applications - mandatory
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic multi-interface environment
