Senior AI-First Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior AI-First Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in backend development (Python, Django) and frontend development (React, Next.js, TypeScript).

You will join Bridgify to build and scale our B2B2C travel and lifestyle platform, powering white-label solutions and Merchant APIs for global loyalty programs, banks, and fintech companies.

This is not a traditional software engineering role. At Bridgify, we operate with an AI-First Engineering Culture, where AI agents, autonomous coding tools, and AI-assisted workflows are a core part of the development process. We expect engineers to leverage modern AI tools to dramatically increase productivity, accelerate delivery, and focus their time on architecture, problem-solving, and product outcomes rather than manual implementation of repetitive code.

You will own features end-to-end, from architecture and database design through backend implementation, frontend development, deployment, and monitoring. You will also play a key role in integrating AI capabilities directly into our products and internal workflows.

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Django.

2. Build modern, responsive, and high-performance frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

3. Own features from initial requirements and architecture through production deployment.

4. Design and implement AI-powered product capabilities using LLMs, agents, semantic search, and workflow automation.

5. Actively leverage AI coding assistants and autonomous agents to accelerate development velocity and maintain high engineering quality.

6. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Data Science, and Business stakeholders to deliver measurable business value.

7. Optimize platform performance to support large-scale global inventory and high-volume partner API traffic.

8. Contribute to engineering standards, architecture decisions, and AI development best practices across the organization.

Core Engineering Experience

1. Minimum 4 years of professional experience with Python in production environments.

2. Minimum 4 years of professional experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.

3. Strong hands-on experience with Django and building scalable backend systems.

4. Strong experience with Next.js and modern frontend architecture.

5. Solid experience working with PostgreSQL, including schema design, performance optimization, and query tuning.

6. Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining public-facing REST APIs.

7. Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, and modern engineering practices.

8. Experience working in cloud environments and production systems.

AI-First Engineering Requirements

1. Proven experience using AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Windsurf, or similar solutions as part of daily development workflows.

2. Practical experience integrating LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or equivalent platforms.

3. Understanding of prompt engineering, agent-based workflows, and AI application architecture.

4. Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI orchestration frameworks.

5. Experience building products or features that incorporate AI capabilities.

6. Strong ability to evaluate, review, and validate AI-generated code and architectural decisions.

7. Demonstrated AI-first mindset with a focus on maximizing productivity through automation and intelligent tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience deploying and operating applications on Azure.

2. Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

4. Experience building B2B2C platforms, SaaS products, or systems in the travel, fintech, loyalty, or e-commerce industries.

5. Experience with AI agents, MCP servers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.

6. Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring other engineers.
