Hardware Development Engineer

Eshed Group is looking for a senior Hardware Development Engineer to join a top-tier defense company.

If you are a hardware expert with an experience in leading complex development cycles from architecture to integration—this is for you.

What will you do?

• Define hardware architecture for advanced systems (electronic boxes, PCBs, and firmware).
• Lead and manage hardware development performed by sub-contractors.
• Formulate requirements, write technical specifications, and SOWs.
• Lead hardware Design Reviews and manage work plans for development, testing, and integration.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, mechanics, and system engineering teams.
• Lead hardware environmental testing (HALT) and qualification processes.
• Participate in complex system integrations and field trials.

What are we looking for?

• B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering – Mandatory.
• 8+ years of experience in hardware development (Boards/Boxes) and integration – Mandatory.
• Proven ability to design system-level hardware architecture – Mandatory.
• Deep familiarity with hardware interfaces: SPI, I2C, ETH, RS-422, 1553 – Mandatory.
• Experience in sub-contractor management – Significant Advantage.
• Experience with CPU and/or FPGA components – Advantage.
• Background in Analog design, Power Supply design, or RF design – Advantage.
