Radio Frequency System Engineer

Job Description:

Planning, specification, integration and testing of advanced wireless communication systems.

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for the specification and architecture of radio communication systems, performing link budget calculations and simulations, integration and design verification, hands-on work with measurement equipment, and leading integration activities and field trials while working with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining a broad system-level perspective.

Requirements:

Must Have:

• Relevant academic degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Physics

• At least 5 years of experience in radio communication system engineering

• Experience in defining communication systems and writing system requirements/specification documents

• Experience performing link budget calculations, sensitivity analysis and system margin analysis

• Familiarity with wireless communication architectures, modulation methods and network access techniques

• Broad system-level understanding, ability to work independently and manage tasks

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment involving hardware, software and firmware interfaces

• Willingness to perform field work and strong learning ability

• Experience leading and managing engineering tasks while meeting goals and schedules
