Hardware Leader

A deep-tech startup developing next-generation secure communication technology for the post-quantum era is looking for a Hardware Leader to play a key role in the development of its core technology.

This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary role with broad ownership across high-speed board design, FPGA, control systems, manufacturing, and system-level integration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex electronic systems from concept through production.
• Design and review analog, digital, power, and high-speed boards.
• Develop and implement FPGA-based functionality and control algorithms.
• Design and optimize real-time control loops.
• Drive system integration across hardware, FPGA, software, and electro-optic subsystems.
• Work closely with PCB layout engineers, manufacturing partners, and multidisciplinary R&D teams.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of hands-on hardware development experience.
• Strong board-design experience, including high-speed circuits and signal integrity considerations.
• Experience with FPGA development and integration.
• Experience implementing control algorithms and real-time control systems.
• Strong system-level understanding and integration capabilities.
• Independent, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership of complex technical challenges.

Advantages:

• Background in electro-optics or optical communication systems.
• Experience with electro-optic components, sensors, lasers, modulators, or optical drivers.
• Experience with OrCAD and AMD (Xilinx) tools.

Location: Tel Aviv area (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)
