Position Overview-

• Mechanical Design Engineer joining a premier multi-disciplinary R&D division to lead the mechanical architecture and physical packaging of next-generation electronic systems.
• Designing high-durability enclosures, thermal dissipation frameworks, and structural assemblies for complex electronic units deployed in harsh environments.
• Managing the end-to-end design lifecycle—from parametric 3D modeling and structural optimization through to cross-functional electrical integration and full scale production-floor support.
• Interfacing closely with external subcontractors, manufacturing vendors, and testing labs to drive high-quality hardware maturity.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized academic institution (Mandatory).
• 3+ years of proven professional experience in complex mechanical design, specifically focusing on electronics packaging or ruggedized hardware (Mandatory).
• Advanced, expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor, including deep mastery of parametric modeling, complex assemblies, and geometric dimensioning (Mandatory).
• Comprehensive, hands-on familiarity with military standard compliance testing matrices, specifically MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and MIL-STD-1275 (Mandatory).
• Direct, practical experience collaborating with and managing technical deliverables from external subcontractors and manufacturing vendors (Mandatory).
• Solid structural understanding of multi-disciplinary systems incorporating thermal constraints, material science, and electronic integration layouts.
