Quality Control Manager

Position Overview

Gat Fertilizers, a global leader in liquid fertilizers and innovative crop nutrition solutions, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead and manage all quality control activities at our manufacturing facility.

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, production processes, and finished products consistently meet the company's quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations. This role plays a key part in supporting operational excellence, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

• Lead and manage the Quality Control activities across the plant.
• Oversee testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Manage and develop the QC team, including laboratory technicians and quality inspectors.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality control procedures and testing methods.
• Investigate quality deviations, non-conformities, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Monitor and analyze quality performance indicators and provide regular reports to management.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, and Sales teams.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulations.
• Manage laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and validation programs.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure readiness for customer and certification inspections.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience managing teams and laboratory operations.
• Experience with quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001.
• Experience in the fertilizer, chemical, food, or pharmaceutical industries is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent Hebrew and English, both written and spoken.
