DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are hiring a hands-on DevOps Engineer to help scale and operate our entire infrastructure- from development to production infrastructure.  This role requires strong ownership, deep production experience, and flexibility to support systems outside standard working hours when needed.

• Design, build, and operate production-grade infrastructure on AWS in multi-account and multi-region environments
• Work across the full AWS ecosystem, using both AWS Console and CLI
• Develop, maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines
• Build, deploy, operate and own containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems using Datadog
• Implement and manage alerting and incident response workflows
• Work with and operate SQL and NO-SQL Databases in non-prod and in production environments both in AWS and in MongoDB Atlas. 
• Perform and support system installations and environment setup
• Identify production issues quickly and design and implement fast, effective solutions
• Support extensive production deployments for real customers
• Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Work with a variety of Stakeholders - CTO, Developers, Product, Security and Clients. 

• 4–5 years of experience in a DevOps / Platform role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including multi-account and multi-region architectures
• Proven production experience with Terraform
• Professional-level experience with Linux, (Preferably also Windows and MacOS)
• Advanced hands-on experience with AWS Architecture and components (including, but not limited to  Clusters, Network & Security components, API Gateways, Firewalls, DNS, Secret Manager, RDS and Replicas, Kubernetes, Docker and Lambda .
• Experience operating live clusters and resolving testing and production issues.
• Solid experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using: GitHub, TeamCity
• Experience with monitoring and observability using Datadog
• Experience with alerting and incident management
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas, Postgress. 
• Experience with shell scripting (e.g., Bash)
• Coding experience in TypeScript, Python
• Experience supporting large enterprise customers and production systems
• Strong ability to identify issues quickly and deliver practical working solutions
• Flexibility in working hours, including availability outside regular business hours
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team
• Experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance and audits

• Experience with cost optimization and performance tuning in AWS
• Familiarity with cloud and Kubernetes security best practices
• Prior ownership of on-call rotations in production environments
• Understanding ELT architecture
