Data Developer

Clalit Innovation is leading the digital health and AI transformation in Israel's largest healthcare organization.

We are looking for a Data Developer to join the Data & AI-driven Healthcare team. Our team leverages Clalit's rich medical data to develop digital products with the potential to influence millions of people.

Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable in a wide range of big data environments, a quick learner and can implement high quality and creative solutions. This candidate should be an active team player, thrive in high responsibility environments and be comfortable communicating with a diverse range of professionals.

Responsibilities:

•Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL-based data models, algorithms, and pipelines on

large-scale clinical datasets.

•Work side by side with physicians to implement clinical knowledge (developing automated SQL

algorithms).

•Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs across different information sources

•Generate valuable and actionable insights through detailed analysis of the electronic medical

record data to benefit patients and clinicians’ decision-making processes

•Develop back-end data for the “C-Pi” application (google it)

•Create complex pipelines and comprehensive tests using tools like SQL, python, R &

Jenkins/Azure DevOps Pipelines

•Please note, this is not a software engineering role

Requirements:

•Excellent SQL skills with 2+ years of proven experience querying large, complex data sets– A must!

•Comfortable coding in a scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)

•Independent decision making, multi-tasking, excellent problem solving and highly creative

•Excellent interpersonal communication skills

•Organized, thorough, and detail oriented

Advantages:

•Work experience in healthcare organizations and analytical applications related to health and

health care systems

•BSc/BA or above in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Bio-statistics,

with a specialization in Health Information Systems
