Senior System Engineer – UAV Platforms

Role Overview:

A System Engineer responsible for leading the development, integration, and validation of unmanned aerial systems. The role spans full system lifecycle from requirements definition through ground and flight testing.

Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements and lead architecture and interface specifications for UAV platforms, including mechanical, electrical, software, and avionics subsystems
• Lead multidisciplinary integration processes, managing interfaces between mechanical, electronic, software, and flight systems
• Manage Verification & Validation processes, including support for ground and flight testing, performance analysis, and results evaluation
• Interface with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and customers to ensure compliance with safety standards and unmanned aircraft regulations
• Work in a multidisciplinary environment, translating operational and customer requirements into engineering solutions
• Manage full system documentation throughout the project lifecycle, from requirements definition through to flight test reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field – required
• 5+ years of experience in complex systems engineering, specifically in aerospace systems – required
• Technical experience with sensors, communication systems, and relevant payload components in aerospace systems – required
• Experience in embedded software development or working with avionics and control systems – an advantage
• Experience in diverse technological environments, including cloud, software, and hardware, relevant to integration of complex systems – an advantage
• Direct experience in development, integration, or testing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) – a significant advantage
