About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and analytical leader to head our Consumer Credit Management & Development function. This role is responsible for leading a team focused on consumer credit analytics, business insights, research activities, and the development and oversight of business models that support the company's underwriting activities. The position plays a key role in driving credit portfolio performance and supporting strategic decision-making

• Lead and manage a team, providing both professional guidance and people management
• Oversee analytics, data extraction, and the generation of business insights related to the company’s consumer credit activities
• Manage and maintain knowledge and expertise in consumer credit, including implementation, monitoring, and ownership of consumer credit policies
• Analyze credit portfolio trends, conduct in-depth analyses, and prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the Board of Directors
• Monitor and oversee the business and performance quality of all models supporting consumer credit activities
• Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects related to consumer credit
• Drive accountability for the company’s credit portfolio balance and charge-off targets
• Support data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization of credit strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field – required
• Proven experience and strong understanding of consumer credit processes and methodologies
• Previous managerial experience – required
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex data and translate them into business recommendations
• Strong written communication and presentation skills
• Experience leading employees and collaborating across multiple stakeholders and business functions
• Knowledge and understanding of credit model development and performance monitoring
• Familiarity with BI tools and Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills being a significant advantage
