Process Engineer - Advanced Surface Finishing

Job Summary

The Surface Finishing Process Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of advanced surface finishing processes for components and systems used in the semiconductor industry. The role focuses on ultra-high purity processes and cleanroom operations, in accordance with strict industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and optimize electropolishing (EP) and passivation processes for stainless steel components and assemblies.
• Design and support production jigs and fixtures for electrochemical and surface finishing processes.
• Implement and operate final cleaning and packaging processes in a cleanroom environment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant SEMI standards related to surface quality and purity requirements.
• Perform measurements and analysis of surface quality and advanced inspection data.
• Lead NPI processes and support the transfer of products from development to serial production.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and global customers.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or Chemistry - required.
• At least 5 years of experience in surface finishing processes, electrochemical processes, electroplating, or similar processes in a process industry or medical device environment; semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
• Proven experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Experience in production fixture design and CAD software, preferably SolidWorks - an advantage.

• High accuracy, strong attention to detail, and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• High level of technical English.

אחריות על פיתוח, יישום ואופטימיזציה של תהליכי גימור פני שטח מתקדמים עבור רכיבים ומערכות לתעשיית השבבים, בדגש על תהליכי Ultra‑High Purity ועבודה בסביבת חדר נקי, בהתאם לסטנדרטים מחמירים של התעשייה.

תחומי אחריות עיקריים

• פיתוח, ניהול ואופטימיזציה של תהליכי   Electropolishing (EP) ופסיבציה לרכיבי נירוסטה ומכלולים.
• תכנון וליווי מתקני ייצור (Jigs & Fixtures) לתהליכים אלקטרוכימיים ותהליכי גימור.
• הטמעה והפעלה של תהליכי ניקוי סופיים ואריזה בסביבת Cleanroom.
• הבטחת עמידה בתקני SEMI הרלוונטיים לאיכות פני שטח ודרישות טוהר.
• מדידות וניתוח איכות פני שטח ונתוני בדיקה מתקדמים.
• הובלת תהליכי NPI והעברת מוצרים מפיתוח לייצור סדרתי.
• עבודה שוטפת מול ייצור, איכות, הנדסה ולקוחות גלובליים.

דרישות השכלה וניסיון

• תואר ראשון בהנדסת מכונות או חומרים /כימיה- חובה.
• לפחות 5  שנות ניסיון בתהליכי גימור שטח / תהליכים אלקטרוכימיים ,ציפויים גלוונים וכדומה בתעשייה תהליכית / מכשור רפואי עדיפות לתעשיית הסמיקונדקטור.
• ניסיון מוכח בעבודה בסביבת חדר נקי.
• ניסיון בתכנון מתקני ייצור ובשימוש בתוכנות CAD (SolidWorks).- יתרון

כישורים נדרשים

• הבנה תהליכית וטכנולוגית גבוהה.
• יכולת ניתוח כשלים ופתרון בעיות הנדסיות.
• עבודה מדויקת, יסודית ועם ריבוי ממשקים.
• אנגלית טכנית ברמה גבוהה.
