Job Description:

Research, design, and development of high-power fiber laser sources. Leading development processes from the conceptual stage through integration into multidisciplinary systems. Designing and building complex optical experimental setups, performing advanced physical simulations and analyses, and developing atmospheric beam correction methods as part of an experimental and theoretical R&D team in the field of electro-optics.

Responsibilities:

▪ Research, design, and development of advanced fiber laser systems

▪ Lead laser development processes from scientific concept to integration in multidisciplinary systems

▪ Design and construction of optical experimental setups for complex physics experiments

▪ Perform physical simulations and in-depth analyses

▪ Conduct experimental and theoretical work in electro-optics as part of a multidisciplinary R&D team

Requirements:

▪ M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Physics / Electrical Engineering / Electro-optics - mandatory

▪ Strong knowledge in electro-optics - mandatory

▪ Proven ability to lead complex experiments and analyze results - mandatory

▪ Creative thinking and ability to work independently - mandatory

▪ Experience with Adaptive Optics / Wavefront Sensing - significant advantage

▪ Experience in laser technologies - advantage

▪ Background in building optical systems - advantage
