The role focuses on system architecture and system-level thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and end-to-end engineering leadership.

Job Description:

• Lead system architecture for electro-optical systems הכוללים imaging optics and lasers, advanced sensors, mechanisms, and image processing chains.
• Define system requirements and performance budgets for complex systems.
• Lead the full development lifecycle – from concept phase, through system engineering and development processes, to prototyping and transfer to production.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams: optics, electronics, mechanics, software, and image processing.
• Operate in a dynamic, matrix environment with an emphasis on collaboration and system-level decision making.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Optics, or Physics.
• 3+ years of experience in development or integration of electro-optical systems / sensors / imaging systems – חובה (must).
• Experience with day/night imaging systems, detectors, lasers, or complex systems – advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and broad system-level thinking.
• High proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Python – advantage.
• Ability to work and lead in a matrix organization.
