QA & Automation Manager

N2W Software is seeking a hands-on QA and Automation Manager to lead our quality engineering efforts and drive excellence across both automation and manual testing. This is a key leadership role in a dynamic team working on a multi-cloud data protection platform supporting AWS, Azure, and Wasabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a QA team of 5–7 engineers, including 3–4 automation engineers and 2–3 manual QA engineers
• Maintain a 50% hands-on role, actively contributing to test development and framework enhancement
• Own the QA strategy and execution across all product lines, ensuring high-quality releases
• Guide the team in best practices, including test design, code reviews, and high-level documentation (HLDs)
• Develop and evolve the automation framework, ensuring scalability, stability, and security
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate quality throughout the development lifecycle
• Ensure alignment with CI/CD processes and release pipelines
• Proactively identify quality risks and define mitigation plans

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in software development and/or automation architecture
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing both automation and manual QA teams
• Strong experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) and modern DevOps tools
• Proficiency in Python and strong understanding of software design principles
• Hands-on experience with Linux environments, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), and automation frameworks
• Proven track record of building and scaling QA processes in agile environments
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team management skills
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
