Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Ops Team Lead to manage and guide our Data Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background in data systems and proven leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a Data Operations/DevOps team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee operational processes for data systems including ETL, DWH, BI, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Manage and optimize enterprise ETL tools (such as DataStage, Informatica) and scheduling systems (Control-M or similar).
• Administer BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, BO, Pyramid) and ensure their effective use across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to maintain and improve data platforms on Linux/Windows environments.
• Drive adoption and integration of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and managed services.
• Implement and maintain modern monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Support Big Data technologies (Spark, Kafka) and contribute to their integration and optimization.
• Provide DBA support (infrastructure or application level) as needed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience managing a Data Operations/DevOps team.
• Excellent operational experience with data systems (ETL, DWH, BI, scheduling, monitoring).
• Proven hands-on experience with enterprise ETL tools (DataStage, Informatica) and scheduling systems (Control-M or similar) – mandatory.
• Strong administrative knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, BO, Pyramid).
• Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and IT infrastructure.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and managed services – significant advantage.
• Familiarity with modern monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) – advantage.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Spark, Kafka) – advantage.
• Background as an infrastructure or application DBA – advantage.
