System Administrator, Storage and Virtualization | Jerusalem

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a System Administrator specializing in Storage and Virtualization for a defense organization in Jerusalem.

Join a large-scale Windows/Linux environment with over 600 servers, thousands of users, and a mix of physical and virtual infrastructure, with a strong focus on scripting, automation, and VMware-based virtualization.

Responsibilities:

Work in a large-scale Windows/Linux environment with multiple servers and applications

Manage infrastructure supporting over 600 servers and thousands of users

Support both physical and virtual server environments

Work with VMware-based virtualization systems

Write scripts and develop automation processes

Support system administration activities across complex Enterprise infrastructure

Work with Microsoft products, including Active Directory and Exchange

Support backup solutions and related infrastructure where needed

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience as a System Administrator in an Enterprise organization

At least 2 years of experience writing scripts and automation processes

Experience writing scripts in Python and PowerShell

At least 2 years of recent experience as a Linux System Administrator is a significant advantage

Knowledge of VMware virtualization systems

Experience with backup products such as Commvault or Veeam is a significant advantage

Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Active Directory and Exchange
