join a new very well-funded, small startup with customers, becoming one of the first employees. Oversee all hardware aspects related to the entire life cycle of a system of systems.
Initiate revised system design focusing on new hardened hardware, choosing components, design new power systems, electronics and integrate between disciplines such as board design, elaborate power and enegry supply, including solar panels, power distribution, HDR cameras.
Define the specification and architecture for complex multi-disciplinary equipment.
You will break down high level requirements into manageable tasks and assess development hurdles. Work together with customers and potential overseas prospects.
Core Responsibilities
- System Ownership: Design and manage the end-to-end power architecture, including solar panels, battery management, DC-DC, cpu based control.
- Technical Leadership: Lead PDR/CDR cycles, draft technical specifications, and manage multidisciplinary subcontractors.
- Hardware Integration: Oversee electronic design cycles, control circuit and software integration, and hands-on lab prototyping.
Key Requirements
- Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years in power systems or complex hardware design (DC/DC converters, solar, batteries).
- Technical Depth: Strong grasp of high and low voltage safety standards and thermal/mechanical constraints.
Hands-on Skills: Proficient with lab equipment, soldering, and performance verification
