DevOps Lead

A highly successful, mission-driven Digital Health startup developing a life-saving medical software platform that transforms care optimization for oncology patients.

The company is located in Tel Aviv (situated directly on major train and mass transit routes) and operates on a hybrid model with flexibility for two days of remote work.

Position Overview

• Lead DevOps Engineer stepping into a critical, high-impact leadership role to completely own, architect, and scale the company's global cloud operations while mentoring an additional DevOps engineer.
• Operating as a strategic technical leader with a strong hands-on (HO) focus, completely driving the structural evolution of the platform’s infrastructure.
• Standardizing highly reliable containerization strategies to support high-availability, microservices-based medical data streams.
• Governing infrastructure-level cybersecurity parameters, compliance controls, and automated vulnerability scanning pipelines to safeguard highly sensitive patient health data.
• Partnering directly with core software engineering teams and product architects to instill a culture of rapid, stable, and highly observable delivery lines.

Requirements-

• 8 years of professional experience in dedicated DevOps Engineering roles within high-standard software product companies (Mandatory).
• Deep, authoritative technical mastery in managing, scaling, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in live production (Mandatory).
• Comprehensive, deep cloud platform expertise utilizing GCP (highly preferred) or AWS architectures (Mandatory).
• Extensive hands-on experience authoring complex configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation (Mandatory).
• Proven track record implementing CI/CD automation and continuous delivery tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, TeamCity, or Jenkins (Mandatory).
• Strong technical background in Observability, monitoring, and APM suites (e.g., Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) (Mandatory).
• Solid experience embedding DevSecOps practices, managing security controls, and running automated vulnerability scans (Mandatory).
• Natural leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the technical mentorship acumen to guide engineers and unify cross-functional R&D operations.
