CAD Engineer

A promising, heavily funded DeepTech startup operating in Stealth Mode that is engineering disruptive Artificial Intelligence technologies tailored for the semiconductor and chip design industries.

Founded by a prominent serial entrepreneur with a proven track record of major high-tech exits, the company is backed by substantial capital and an elite team of veterans from top-tier silicon and AI giants.

Located in Tel Aviv (Azrieli) the company utilizes a hybrid model with one day of remote work per week.

Position Overview-

• Senior VLSI CAD / Infrastructure Engineer joining a foundational R&D team to architect and optimize high-scale automation frameworks and CAD workflows.
• Designing, building, and maintaining core automation infrastructure that powers complex Chip Design, Verification, and Emulation pipelines.
• Leading the continuous integration (CI/CD) strategy and cloud-native deployment blueprints to accelerate silicon engineering velocity.
• Driving performance optimization, runtime efficiency, and compute cost-reduction strategies across heavy grid workloads in the cloud.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional hardware designers, verification experts, and AI researchers to tailor systemic infrastructure solutions.

Requirements-

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Software Engineering, or a related quantitative technical field from a leading university (Mandatory).
• 5 years of proven experience in VLSI/Semiconductor environments, focusing on CAD, CAE, Design Automation (DA), or specialized Infrastructure/DevOps (Mandatory).
• Strong production-grade programming and scripting proficiency in Python, Tcl, Bash, and shell scripting (Mandatory).
• Direct, practical experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure workflows, specifically AWS (Mandatory).
• Solid technical familiarity with end-to-end VLSI Design and Verification processes (Front-End/Back-End flows).
• Hands-on experience constructing automated pipelines using GitHub Actions or equivalent enterprise CI/CD tools.
