Junior Technical Lead – AI Product Development (First Leadership Opportunity)

We're looking for an exceptional software developer ready to take the next step in their career.

We're looking for someone who sees AI as a core part of modern software development, not just an occasional productivity tool.

This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage AI startup and grow into a technical leadership role. You'll help guide a small, talented development team while remaining deeply involved in building the product itself.

You will spend a significant portion of your time contributing directly to product development, leveraging modern AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and maintain quality.

You do not need previous formal management experience. What matters most is strong technical ability, ownership, curiosity, and a desire to help others succeed.

What you will do

• Help coordinate and guide a small development team while working closely with the CTO.
• Help organize team priorities, coordinate execution, and keep development moving forward.
• Take an active part in development and contribute production code.
• Oversee and improve software development practices, including documentation, pull requests, code reviews, testing, validation, release processes, and GitHub workflows.
• Support fellow developers, share knowledge, and help build a strong engineering culture.
• Collaborate with CTO, CEO and product stakeholders to deliver high-quality features.
• Promote effective use of modern AI development tools to improve speed, quality, and engineering productivity.

• AWS or cloud infrastructure experience.

• Experience in healthcare, digital health, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, ISO27001 or similar frameworks.
