The Role

As a BI Data Quality Specialist, you will serve as the final line of defense for our data integrity, ensuring that our decision-making is powered by flawless information. You will act as a data detective, proactively identifying anomalies and bridging the gap between raw data pipelines and actionable business insights. This role is critical in maintaining the trust and accuracy of our analytics ecosystem in a high-velocity B2C environment.

Description

• Proactively monitor BI alerts and dashboards to detect performance anomalies or data inconsistencies.
• Conduct rigorous sanity checks and QA validation on complex data pipelines and automated reports.
• Investigate suspicious trends and missing data points to resolve issues before they impact business operations.
• Perform deep-dive root cause analysis on data discrepancies across various internal systems.
• Collaborate with BI developers and data engineers to implement long-term solutions for data integrity.
• Support business stakeholders by verifying the precision of high-stakes reports prior to distribution.
• Analyze gaming events and user behavior patterns to identify irregularities and optimize monitoring logic.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience in a data-centric role such as BI or Data Analysis.
• High proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for debugging and data manipulation.
• Practical experience with cloud-based data environments such as GCP or BigQuery - advantage.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and modern data architecture.
• Proven ability to work independently and take full ownership of problem-solving initiatives.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on detail and systematic detective-style investigation.
• Prior experience in B2C environments or the gaming industry - advantage.
