Information Security Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Expert for a senior role on our cybersecurity team, with strong hands-on security experience and solid knowledge of network and communication infrastructure.

As part of the role, you will take responsibility for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of information security systems within the organization, working hands-on in complex environments (IT / OT / DMZ / SEC), and ensuring the practical enforcement of information security policies.

The role includes:

• Hands-on work with firewalls, with a strong focus on FortiGate and additional experience with Check Point and Palo Alto, including configuration, policy management, troubleshooting, and administration at the CLI level.
• Implementation, configuration, and operation of information security systems - EDR, FW, NAC, WAF, DLP, AV, etc.
• Performing hardening of servers, operating systems, and network components.
• Implementing infrastructure-level security policies, including network segmentation, access control, and security baseline enforcement across enterprise environments.
• Working with System / Network / DevOps teams to implement security solutions.
• Deploying new security solutions.
• Handling infrastructure-related issues in security systems.
• Writing procedures, hardening documents, and runbooks.
• Working with vendors and integrators.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in implementing/operating information security systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least some of the following systems:

FW, EDR/XDR, NAC, WAF, DLP, Email Security.

• Experience working with firewalls (Checkpoint / Palo Alto / Fortinet).
• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, NAT).
• Experience with Windows / Linux operating systems at an admin level.
• Experience and familiarity with systems such as allowlisting, sandboxing, and event monitoring (SIEM).
• Experience working with Active Directory and GPO.
• Experience writing scripts (PowerShell / Python).
• Experience in system hardening.
