New Product Introduction Engineer

The Engineering & Systems Plant at Elta Systems is seeking a skilled NPI Electronic Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and industrialization of advanced electronic technologies.

Role Responsibilities:

• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes for advanced electronic products

• Support and guide PCB assembly production lines

• Define and implement manufacturing materials and processes, including coatings, adhesives, and PCB treatments

• Work according to IPC-610 and J-STD-001 standards (Military / Class 3)

• Collaborate with R&D teams on electronic and electromechanical manufacturing solutions

• Work with subcontractors in Israel and abroad

• Support failure analysis and root cause investigations

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering / Chemistry / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• 5+ years of experience in electronic manufacturing processes

• Experience in SMT, soldering, coatings, adhesives, and electromechanical assemblies

• Strong understanding of PCB design and manufacturing processes

• Experience in failure analysis and root cause investigation

• Strong knowledge of advanced PCB soldering technologies

About the Division:

The Engineering & Systems Division at Elta Systems is responsible for the development and production of electronic hardware, microwave systems, and mechanical systems across all Elta platforms. The division operates at the core of aerospace and defense manufacturing, supporting end-to-end development from design through production and system integration.
