SKYNEST is looking for a creative and hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone with a multidisciplinary mindset a strong mechanical background combined with practical understanding of electronics, power systems, integration, and real-world field constraints.

You’ll work on advanced drone infrastructure, deployment systems, robotic hives, and ruggedized mission-critical platforms from concept to prototype and production.

What We’re Looking For

* Strong mechanical design skills

* Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks / Fusion 360 or similar)

* Hands-on prototyping and problem-solving abilities

* Understanding of electronics, wiring, power systems, and system integration

* Creative, independent, and able to multitask in a fast-moving startup environment

* “Big picture” thinking with attention to detail

Nice to Have

* Experience with drones, robotics, defense, or ruggedized systems

* Rapid prototyping / manufacturing knowledge

* Startup or multidisciplinary R&D experience
