About the Role

Eitan medical is looking for a highly motivated Software QA Engineer with strong testing capabilities, hands-on automation experience, and practical usage of AI tools for software quality and testing activities. As part of the Digital Health Department, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing test scenarios for complex medical software systems. The role combines manual testing, automation development, backend/API validation, and AI-assisted QA workflows to ensure high-quality and reliable products used in real-life patient care. You will work closely with R&D, Product, and System Engineering teams in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, planning, and executing test scenarios for complex medical software systems.
• Combining manual testing, automation development, backend/API validation, and AI-assisted QA workflows.
• Ensuring high-quality and reliable products used in real-life patient care.
• Working closely with R&D, Product, and System Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• QA course / ISTQB certification / Equivalent experience.
• Scientific Degree – An advantage.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in software QA, including manual and automation testing – MUST.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and/or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar) – MUST.
• Practical experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, AI-assisted testing/automation tools) as part of the QA and development workflow – MUST.
• Experience in backend testing, APIs, REST services.
• Experience converting software requirements into test plans and test cases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn complex systems independently.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments – Advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Fluent Hebrew/English - writing and verbal.
