Head of Healthcare Value & Strategic Performance

The Medical Division at Sheba Medical Center is looking for an experienced and strategic leader to establish and lead the organization’s Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) domain.

This role is focused on driving data-driven transformation initiatives that improve healthcare value, patient outcomes, operational effectiveness, and organizational performance across one of the world’s leading medical centers.

• Lead and develop the Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) strategy and initiatives across the organization.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive cross-functional transformation processes in collaboration with hospital leadership, departments, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Initiate, lead, and manage complex organizational projects from planning through implementation, including reporting, data analysis, and presenting recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee data collection, monitoring, analysis, and performance measurement processes to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Manage and implement Ministry of Health incentive and reimbursement models, including organizational performance tracking and ongoing collaboration with governmental stakeholders.
• Represent Sheba Medical Center in international VBHC forums and professional collaborations.

• Proven experience leading complex projects within the healthcare system.
• Strong ability to lead cross-organizational initiatives and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience working with data, analytics, and generating actionable business insights.
• Analytical mindset, initiative, and the ability to drive organizational change.
• Familiarity with healthcare incentive and performance measurement models – a significant advantage.
• High level of English proficiency – an advantage.
• Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Healthcare Management, Public Health, Economics, Business Administration, Epidemiology, or a related discipline – an advantage.
