Software Development Team Leader UI & Management Platform

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Team Leader to lead our WAF UI and Management Platform team.

This team owns the UI and management infrastructure of the entire WAF product, including the frontend experience, backend management services, platform capabilities, and shared foundations used across the product.

In this role, you will lead a strong engineering team responsible for shaping the user experience, management flows, and backend infrastructure of the WAF product. You will also drive UI excellence and AI-powered development practices across the organization.

We are looking for a strong technical leader with high ownership, excellent execution skills, and the ability to lead people, technology, and cross-organizational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the WAF UI and Management Platform team, including people management, technical leadership, execution, and delivery
• Own the UI and management infrastructure of the WAF product, including frontend applications, backend services, and shared platform capabilities
• Drive the team’s technical roadmap in alignment with product, architecture, and business goals
• Lead the design and development of scalable, user-friendly management flows and product experiences
• Drive UI excellence and AI-powered development practices across the organization
• Mentor and grow team members, while ensuring high engineering standards and production readiness
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, UX designers, developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders
• Foster a proactive, high-performing team culture with strong ownership and a “get-things-done” mindset

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a software development team leader
• Proven experience managing and growing software engineering teams
• Strong hands-on background in frontend and backend development
• Experience leading large-scale web applications, management platforms, or SaaS products
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience developing backend services using Node.js, Python, or similar programming languages
• Strong understanding of UI architecture, component-based development, performance, usability, and maintainability
• Experience using AI-powered development tools and driving AI adoption in development workflows
• Excellent leadership, communication, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cybersecurity products, WAF, SaaS platforms, or cloud security products
• Experience with management platforms, admin consoles, dashboards, or customer-facing SaaS portals
• Experience with design systems, shared UI components, or frontend infrastructure
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with databases, preferably NoSQL databases such as MongoDB; familiarity with Amazon Neptune is an advantage
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation tools
