Senior System Engineer - Simulator

We are seeking a skilled Simulator System Engineer to lead and drive multi-disciplinary, high-resolution system simulation framework in a leading defense company. In this role, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for simulating various flight phases, managing complex system requirements, and bridging the gap between cutting-edge hardware and software.

• End-to-End Ownership: Define and lead the architectural layout of the simulation system, covering software, hardware, sensors, communication protocols, and physical models.
• Flight Simulation Development: Develop and integrate state-of-the-art flight simulators featuring 6-DOF (Six Degrees of Freedom) for closed-loop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing of airborne systems.
• Requirements & Interface Management: Manage system-level requirements and define complex electrical and logical interfaces.
• V&V and Integration: Write testing procedures, integrate advanced physical models, and lead cross-functional root-cause analysis for system anomalies.
• Roadmap Leadership: Own the system’s technology roadmap, coordinating matrix-based engineering teams and tailoring the simulator framework for diverse projects.

• Education: B.Sc. in Engineering or Exact Sciences – Mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in leading multi-disciplinary (hardware/software/physics) projects – Mandatory.
• Technical Depth: Deep understanding of Real-Time (RT) systems and distributed system architectures – Mandatory.
• Systems Thinking: Proven experience with highly complex, large-scale systems – Mandatory.
• M.Sc. in Systems Engineering - Advantage.
• Strong physics-based background in navigation, control, and guidance domains - Advantage.
• Hands-on experience with simulation tools and validation/verification (V&V) processes - Advantage.
• Excellent communication and matrix-leadership skills, with a broad system-level perspective.
