In one sentence

A senior, hands-on role - operating as an individual contributor and technical architect in the first phase, with a mandate to build the AI agent assurance capability from scratch and grow a team once the methodology is proven. Ensures every Amdocs AI agent operates within defined policies, produces reliable outputs, and is continuously audited for gaps.

What will your job look like?

• Design and deploy a runtime governance agent layer that intercepts, evaluates, and enforces policy on Amdocs AI agent actions before execution - translating policy into machine-readable rules that run without human intervention.
• Build and operate continuous evaluation agents that detect hallucination, output drift, and policy violations across production environments - defining SLOs per agent type and triggering automated escalation when thresholds are breached.
• Own the external artefact intake pipeline: automated scanning agents that inspect imported Markdown instruction files, model weights, and open-source frameworks for embedded threats before admission to Amdocs environments.
• Design audit agents that continuously scan the live agent estate for policy deviations and unapproved deployments - and surface gaps in policy coverage directly to the Head of AI GRC for remediation.
• Run structured red team programmers against Amdocs agents - covering prompt injection, goal hijacking, tool misuse, and memory poisoning - and operationalize findings into updated governance agent rules.
• This role will grow and evolve with the function. The right person will shape it.
  
  

• 7+ years in AI/ML engineering, MLSecOps, or AI safety engineering - with hands-on experience building systems that govern LLM or agentic AI behavior in production, not just advising on them.
• Demonstrated experience designing automated enforcement systems: guardrail layers, policy engines, output classifiers, or safety monitoring pipelines.
• Practical adversarial testing experience: prompt injection, goal hijacking, data poisoning. Structured red team programmers, not ad hoc testing.
• Working knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLMs (2025), OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Applications (2026), MITRE ATLAS, and the EU AI Act obligations relevant to technical controls.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks and their trust boundary risks; ability to work in Python or direct engineering output to that standard.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or equivalent. Relevant certification (CAISP, IAPP AIGP) is an advantage.
