Financial Reporting & Investment Operations Associate

A private family office based in Tel Aviv is seeking a Financial Reporting & Investment Operations Associate to support its finance, investment operations, compliance, and reporting activities.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong analytical skills, solid financial understanding, high attention to detail, and the ability to work across financial reporting, investments, tax/compliance coordination, cash flow, and financial systems.

The role is suited for a candidate who enjoys working with data, improving processes, taking ownership, and creating clear financial visibility for decision-makers in a complex, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
• Analyze financial activity across multiple entities, accounts, and investment structures.
• Assist with cash flow tracking, liquidity planning, and monitoring of upcoming funding needs.
• Support investment operations, including capital calls, distributions, K-1s, investment statements, and portfolio reporting.
• Assist with tax and compliance processes, including reviewing tax return packages, workpapers, supporting schedules, and related documentation before external filing or advisor review.
• Coordinate with accountants, tax advisors, lawyers, banks, investment managers, and other service providers.
• Help maintain organized records for entities, investments, tax filings, legal documents, grants, capital activity, and major financial transactions.
• Consolidate information from banks, custodians, investment managers, accountants, advisors, and internal records.
• Help improve reporting processes, dashboards, controls, and financial data infrastructure.
• Prepare clear summaries and analyses for internal decision-making.
• Support budget tracking, expense review, payment processes, and vendor follow-up.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, missing documents, and follow-up items across financial, tax, and investment workflows.

Requirements

• CPA, BA in Economics, BA in Law, or a related academic degree — required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, investment operations, consulting, tax, compliance, or financial analysis.
• Hebrew and English at a very high level — required.
• Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
• Good understanding of financial statements, cash flow, tax workpapers, and investment reporting.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple workstreams.
• Comfortable working with complex data, multiple entities, and external service providers.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow up until items are fully resolved.
• Discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Advantages

• U.S. CPA — significant advantage.
• Experience in a family office, investment firm, fund, fintech, accounting firm, law firm, or consulting firm.
• Familiarity with U.S. and Israeli tax/compliance processes.
• Experience with private investments, capital calls, K-1s, portfolio reporting, or cross-border financial operations.
• Experience with BI tools, dashboards, CRM systems, or financial reporting platforms.
• Experience working with banks, custodians, accountants, investment managers, or legal advisors.
