UI/UX Designer

A leading global, multidisciplinary technology company is hiring a UI/UX Designer.

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to take end-to-end ownership of the product experience for our consumer-facing mobile app shaping, evolving, and elevating it to the next level for millions of of users worldwide.

We operate as a startup within a large company: moving fast, navigating complexity, and driving meaningful change at scale.

This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You won’t just design screens, you’ll define problems, shape solutions, and continuously validate them with users and data. You’ll be trusted to take initiatives from idea to shipped outcome, ensuring what we build is both intuitive, valuable, and impactful for real users.

You’ll thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, bringing clarity, direction, and momentum where none exists. This role requires a high level of independence, you’re comfortable operating without detailed guidance, making decisions, and driving work forward.

You’ll work across the product, identifying opportunities, driving improvements, and helping the team move faster and smarter including pushing how we leverage AI in both design and product.

What You’ll Do:

• Own end-to-end UX for key product areas from user research, competitive analysis and ideation to design delivery and post-launch iteration.
• Define what should be built, not just how to design it: proactively identifying opportunities and gaps in the product experience.
• Shape the design vision for the app: define principles, storytelling, and user experience direction.
• Stay hands-on: produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that inspire the team and guide development.
• Own the UX architecture for AI-native product surfaces: define what adapts dynamically vs. stays fixed, how information and choices are surfaced in context, and how users interact with agents and automated flows.
• Bring user empathy to every decision: uncover real pain points through testing, feedback, and analytics.
• Drive UX decisions and alignment across stakeholders, bringing clarity in ambiguous situations.
• Leverage AI design tools to speed iteration and explore new creative directions, and help the team adopt them effectively.
• Collaborate deeply with your cross functional team: product managers, engineers, marketing and other teams ensuring UX drives both user and business outcomes.
• Balance systems and speed: maintain the design system, but adapt quickly when the product requires experimentation.
• Champion UX culture: promote user-centered thinking and measurable design impact across the company.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in product design, with experience owning major product areas or end-to-end redesigns (0→1 or transformation).
• Strong experience designing for consumer (B2C) mobile apps.
• Highly autonomous: comfortable operating with minimal guidance, defining what needs to be done, and driving work independently from high-level goals.
• Proven ability to lead and drive initiatives end-to-end without step-by-step direction or formal authority.
• Strong product mindset: you don’t just solve defined problems, you help identify and shape them.
• Fluent in AI across three levels: you design for it, you work with it and you help the org reach it by building strong AI minded design systems.
• Portfolio that demonstrates impact and decision-making (problem → approach → decisions → outcomes), not just visuals.
• Hands-on and high craft: you can define the vision and execute it at a high level (maker + thinker).
• Comfortable running lean research and continuous validation loops.
• Confident collaborating with PMs and engineers while also driving decisions when needed.
• Experience working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments (startups, growth teams, or major product changes), ideally within a large organization.
