Project Manager Technical Support

One of our clients, a company operating in the defense sector and developing advanced operational and technological systems, is looking to hire a Technical Project Manager & Technical Support Lead for its hardware division.

The role involves leading and managing complex multidisciplinary projects for customers in Israel and abroad, from the proposal stage through delivery, implementation, upgrades, and ongoing operational support. The position combines technical project management, customer-facing activities, system integration, service management, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for mission-critical environments.

The selected candidate will work closely with engineering, hardware, production, integration, logistics, suppliers, and customer teams throughout the full lifecycle of advanced operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex multidisciplinary technological and operational projects

• Manage customer delivery, implementation, upgrades, and ongoing technical support

• Lead and manage ILS and customer support activities in Israel and abroad

• Manage support and SLA/service agreements

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, production, integration, logistics, and subcontractors

• Support development, procurement, manufacturing, and deployment processes

• Define customer support frameworks, maintenance concepts, and service packages

• Write maintenance and support requirements for tenders and customer projects

• Lead engineering upgrades and system implementations at customer sites

• Manage technical documentation and maintenance documentation frameworks

• Perform and support LSA, FMECA, reliability, and maintainability analyses

• Work directly with suppliers and subcontractors in the service and maintenance domain

• Support mission-critical systems in operational environments

Requirements

• Engineering degree

• Experience working with multidisciplinary hardware/software systems

• Background in technical project management, system integration, operational support, field engineering, or defense programs

• Experience with ILS, reliability, maintainability, technical support methodologies, or logistics engineering

• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills

• High-level technical English

• Experience working with large-scale defense projects – advantage

• Security clearance – advantage

• Previous experience in defense companies – advantage

• Willingness to work flexible hours when required for mission-critical customer environments
