MF Computer Operator | Shift-Based Role

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring an MF Computer Operator.

This is an opportunity to join a technological operations environment, monitor critical computing platforms, handle system incidents, and take part in infrastructure and system activities across multiple environments.

Responsibilities:

• Check and monitor processes and jobs running across various computing platforms
• Monitor different systems using control and monitoring systems
• Handle incidents while coordinating with application and infrastructure teams
• Document and control exceptional events in the shift log
• Perform system activities, including VM server setup, TSM backup control, version upgrades, and more
• Set up and handle vaults and safes
• Work in rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts
• Potential to lead shifts in the future

Requirements:

• Technical English
• Experience working in Windows environments is mandatory
• Experience installing and maintaining servers in a VMware environment
• Ability to handle system issues and maintain servers in Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 environments
• Familiarity with IOA products, especially Control-M MF and Control-M Open
• Experience with Z/OS MVS is an advantage
• Familiarity with TIVOLI control and monitoring tools is an advantage
