The Role
We are looking for a Finance & Operations professional who is hands-on, curious, analytical, and comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities move quickly and every day looks different.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role combines financial operations, procurement, logistics, compliance, and day-to-day business execution. This is not a purely financial role — we are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, driving processes forward, and taking ownership across multiple operational areas.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with the ability to balance financial accuracy alongside operational agility.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing financial operations, including budgeting, cost tracking, pricing support, operational reporting, and financial workflows
- Build and maintain financial and operational tracking models and reports
- Prepare and manage documentation for grants, funding applications, and compliance requirements
- Lead procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, purchasing, payments, and vendor management
- Manage inventory tracking and operational availability of equipment and materials
- Coordinate contracts and documentation with customers, suppliers, and external partners
- Support regulatory and compliance-related processes
- Assist with after-sales operational activities and customer-related processes
- Drive operational execution across multiple business functions and improve internal workflows and processes
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, R&D, and Management teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Fluent Hebrew and English — written and spoken — mandatory
- New immigrants: minimum 5 years living in Israel
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Finance Operations, Business Operations, or Operational Finance roles within startups or small technology companies
- Strong financial orientation with practical experience in budgeting, cost tracking, operational finance, or financial workflows
- Advanced Excel skills — mandatory
- Experience working with regulatory bodies, compliance processes, grants, or funding submissions
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Independent, proactive, and ownership-driven mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Nice to Have
- Experience working in hardware, robotics, aerospace, defense, or deep-tech environments
- Background in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or inventory management
- Experience working in fast-growing startups
