The Finance Division of the Dr. Fischer Group is looking for a Junior Economist to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and successful company with over 60 years of industry leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, analyze, and review ongoing financial and economic reports for various stakeholders across the organization, including senior management
Take part in the preparation of the company’s annual budget
Support the preparation and analysis of the company’s quarterly profit & loss reports
Perform ongoing inventory and costing analyses
Provide ongoing financial support to different functions across the organization

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration from a leading university or college – required
0–4 years of experience
Previous experience as an Economist in a manufacturing organization – an advantage
Advanced Excel skills – required
High level of accuracy, reliability, analytical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills
Experience with ERP systems (Priority advantage) and BI tools (Qlik Sense advantage) – an advantage
