Junior Economist

The Finance Division of the Dr. Fischer Group is looking for a Junior Economist to join its team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and review ongoing financial and economic reports for various stakeholders across the organization, including senior management
• Take part in the preparation of the company’s annual budget
• Support the preparation and analysis of the company’s quarterly profit & loss reports
• Perform ongoing inventory and costing analyses
• Provide ongoing financial support to different functions across the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Business Administration from a leading university or college – required
• 0–4 years of experience
• Previous experience as an Economist in a manufacturing organization – an advantage
• Advanced Excel skills – required
• High level of accuracy, reliability, analytical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with ERP systems (Priority advantage) and BI tools (Qlik Sense advantage) – an advantage
