Director of Finance

Location: Bar-Lev Industrial Zone, Galilee, Israel

The Opportunity

We are seeking a business oriented, hands-on, Director of finance to join our team during a pivotal phase of global expansion. Based in our offices in the Bar-Lev Industrial Zone, you will be the hands-on financial and control arm, ensuring alignment between the business and operations while executing the company’s decisions toward fulfilling its vision.

Key Responsibilities - Financial Leadership

Financial Operations & Reporting

● Ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

● Preparation of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

● Cash flow management and forecasting, including monitoring of burn rate, working capital, and treasury position with regular reporting to the CEO.

● Management of accounts payable and receivable, with particular attention to multi-currency international invoicing across a global client base.

● Oversight of all statutory compliance obligations, including VAT filings, corporate tax returns, and regulatory reporting in Israel and applicable international jurisdictions.

● Management of banking relationships and day-to-day treasury operations.

Planning, Budgeting & Control

● Creation & tracking of AI assisted financial models

● Leadership of the annual budget process in coordination with management.

● Preparation of monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary.

● Tracking of unit economics, including hardware and service gross margin.

● Capital expenditure tracking for hardware inventory, tooling, and manufacturing subcontractor payments.

Financial Systems & Insourcing

● Selection, procurement, and implementation of an appropriate ERP or financial management system (such as Priority, NetSuite, or SAP Business One) to support unified management of manufacturing costs, inventory, hardware revenue, and recurring income.

● Establishment of a revenue recognition framework consistent with the hybrid hardware and service business model.

● Development of internal financial controls, policies, and procedures appropriate to a scaling technology company.

The Ideal Profile & Qualifications

● CPA or MBA in Finance from a leading institution.

● 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience in the technology sector.

● Team player with excellent management skills

● Exceptional English and Hebrew communication skills.

● Hybrid Product Expertise: Proven 5+ years experience in a financial role within a startup that manages both physical hardware production (manufacturing/inventory) and service revenue models.

● Scaling Architect: A history of successfully implementing ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Priority, SAP Business One) in a scaling environment.

● Strong 'Consultative' leadership style—balancing financial rigor with a supportive, problem-solving approach for department heads.
