Network Security Engineer

We’re hiring a Network & Security Engineer to join the IT team at Consist Technologies in Ashdod! 🚀

We’re looking for an experienced communication/networking professional with a strong passion for technology and hands-on infrastructure expertise.

This role includes end-to-end responsibility for the organization’s network and security infrastructure — from planning and implementation to troubleshooting complex real-time issues.

What you’ll do:

* Manage and maintain FortiGate firewalls across multi-site environments

* Deploy and manage wireless networks (FortiAP), switches (FortiSwitch/Cisco), and VPN solutions

* Troubleshoot Tier 2/3 networking issues in LAN/WAN environments

* Implement security policies, manage rules, and monitor events using FortiAnalyzer

* Work with infrastructure vendors and integrators on network deployment and upgrade projects

* Assist in maintaining the organization’s private cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

* 4–5+ years of hands-on experience in network administration

* Strong expertise with Fortinet products: FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiSwitch

* Solid understanding of Switching technologies (VLANs, LACP, STP) and Routing (Static/Dynamic)

* Previous experience with private cloud environments, virtualization, and systems such as VMware – advantage
