Key Responsibilities-
- Architecting scalable, low-latency Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) and Host-Based Intrusion Detection Systems (HIDS) utilizing both behavioral anomaly and signature-based detection methodologies.
- Designing high-performance protocol normalization frameworks and encrypted traffic analysis pipelines (SSL/TLS decryption and profiling).
- Defining core system policies for Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) architectures, secure policy-based routing, and encrypted tunneling protocols.
- Developing efficient pattern-matching algorithms and real-time inspection layers optimized to process massive data footprints with microsecond-level latency overhead.
- Serving as the ultimate technical authority across R&D branches, reviewing complex system designs, and conducting rigorous security threat modeling.
- Engineering Ecosystem- IPS/HIDS, DPI Engines, L4–L7 Inspection, Next-Gen Firewalling (NGFW), Protocol Normalization, Encrypted Traffic Analysis, TCP/IP Stack, BGP, IPsec, TLS, Pattern-Matching Algorithms, and Threat Scoring Frameworks.
Requirements-
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a highly related quantitative technical discipline (Mandatory).
- 4+ years of dedicated professional experience in R&D or System Architecture specifically focused on high-scale networking and security products (Mandatory).
- Comprehensive, expert-level understanding of IPS/HIDS principles (signature vs. anomaly detection, behavioral tracking, evasion techniques) and L4–L7 traffic inspection (Mandatory).
- Robust technical background in core network protocols (TCP/IP stack, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, IPsec, BGP), protocol vulnerabilities, and complex firewall architectures (Mandatory).
- Deep engineering familiarity with DPI engine internals, advanced pattern-matching algorithms, and structural threat-scoring frameworks (Mandatory).
- Specialized academic background, professional focus, or industry-recognized certifications within Cybersecurity is required.
