We’re Hiring: Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join a leading data team and work on a modern, scalable, and business-critical data platform.

🚀 What You’ll Do

Engineering & Delivery

• Build, maintain, and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines
• Develop reliable data models and transformations for analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
• Integrate new data sources, APIs, and event streams into the platform
• Implement data quality checks, testing, documentation, and monitoring
• Write clean, efficient, and high-performance SQL and Python code
• Improve scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency across the data platform

🤝 Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with senior engineers to implement architectural patterns and best practices
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement processes
• Maintain clear and structured documentation for data flows, models, and processes

⚙️ Platform & Process

• Support the adoption of new data tools, standards, and workflows
• Contribute to DataOps practices (CI/CD, testing, automation)
• Monitor pipeline health and resolve data-related issues

🧠 Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (mandatory) including SQL, data modeling, and optimization
• Experience with dbt (or similar tools) – models, testing, documentation, and version control workflows
• Strong SQL skills for data modeling and analysis
• Proficiency in Python for data pipeline development and automation
• Experience with orchestration tools (Airflow / Dagster / Prefect or similar)
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling best practices
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Knowledge of data quality, observability, and monitoring concepts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with streaming/event-driven systems (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub)
• Familiarity with data governance or data catalog tools
• Exposure to ML pipelines or MLOps concepts
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
• Familiarity with data testing and validation frameworks
