Data Science Team Lead

A leading organization is looking for an experienced Data Science Team Lead to lead a Data Science team and drive the development of advanced ML-based models and data solutions.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of Data Scientists, including hands-on development of ML-based models.
• Develop end-to-end data science solutions, from research, data collection and data source mapping, EDA and feature engineering, through algorithm selection, model development, training and evaluation.
• Apply Machine Learning and GenAI methodologies to build scalable analytical solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Present insights, findings and model outputs to business and management teams.
• Collaborate in a matrix environment with analysts, BI teams, data teams, business units and technology stakeholders.
• Lead initiatives to improve ML/AI work processes, methodologies and best practices across the unit and the organization.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• 1+ years of experience managing a Data Science team.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills.
• Experience working with model lifecycle management tools and MLOps methodologies, including MLflow.
• Strong analytical, business and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with both business and technology teams.
