Global Head of IT

General Purpose and Scope: The Global Head of IT will lead the full global Information Technology function for Elcam Medical, including global IT strategy, governance, infrastructure, business applications, cybersecurity, data, service delivery, and digital enablement. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this full-time role manages the local Israeli sites IT team and provides functional leadership, standards, roadmap, performance management, and professional governance for IT activities across all company sites globally. The position requires close interface with all company departments, participation in the Operations Management forum, and leading both the Global IT Forum and local team meetings.

Areas of Responsibility: The role is responsible for formulating the global IT, information systems, data, AI, and digital-enablement roadmap, aligned with company business objectives and in close partnership with the Head of Digital Transformation. The Global Head of IT will translate business strategy into annual work plans, operating budgets, investment budgets, and resource plans, ensuring delivery within defined timelines and compliance expectations. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining technological infrastructure, communication networks, enterprise applications, and software platforms to support operational, manufacturing, logistics, and quality processes across all sites. This includes leading the implementation and optimization of ERP, MES, QMS-related systems, and BI analytics, while driving IT as an enabler of operational excellence, lean processes, and cost reduction.

Additional core duties involve writing and enforcing IT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with medical device manufacturing regulations and data integrity standards. The position leads the company's IT-owned AI and data strategy to build secure integration and compliance foundations, while protecting information assets through advanced cybersecurity controls, risk assessments, and incident response readiness. The role also encompasses implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans, managing hardware and software suppliers, establishing agreements, and overseeing user support and helpdesk services globally. Furthermore, the Global Head of IT will manage all tangible and intangible IT assets, track license compliance, and continuously develop, mentor, and monitor the performance of IT department employees and global functional stakeholders against approved targets.

Job Requirements and Qualifications: Candidates must hold an academic degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant background. Proven senior IT leadership experience in a global, multi-site manufacturing organization is required, and experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries is a strong advantage. The role demands strong knowledge of ERP, MES, quality systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and vendor governance. Applicants must possess high managerial capability, a system-wide business view, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority. The position requires fluent English, Hebrew for managing the Israeli team, and a willingness to work non-standard hours to support global sites and critical incidents.
