Automation Engineer

The company is located in the heart of Tel Aviv and operates on a hybrid model with flexibility for one day of remote work.

Key Responsibilities-

• Architecting, scaling, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks for both high-scale user interfaces (UI) and underlying API layers.
• Developing custom software utilities and automation scripts in Node.js/TypeScript to eliminate routine manual tasks and streamline developer workflows.
• Customizing, configuring, and maintaining deployment gates, quality metrics, and release automation pipelines.
• Conducting deep architectural exploration to build deterministic validation paths for complex, non-monolithic product modules.
• Monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving integration anomalies across cloud-hosted staging and production environments.
• Technical Environment- Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Playwright, API Testing, UI Automation, CI/CD (GitLab), and AWS.

Requirements

• Extensive professional engineering experience specializing in automation development, software testing architectures, or internal tooling for complex, multi-layered products (Mandatory).
• Comprehensive, hands-on production programming proficiency utilizing Node.js alongside strong TypeScript or JavaScript fundamentals (Mandatory).
• Proven expertise in designing and maintaining automated validation paths across both API layers and client-side UI frameworks (Mandatory).
• Direct engineering experience implementing or maintaining continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD, preferably utilizing GitLab) (Mandatory).
• Practical technical familiarity or operational exposure working within public cloud infrastructures, specifically AWS (Mandatory).
• Hands-on experience with modern testing frameworks (such as Playwright or similar industry-standard tools) is a highly significant professional advantage.
• Exceptional self-learning capabilities with a strong systems-thinking approach, a passion for workflow optimization, and the ability to drive technical execution independently.
