A prominent, venture-backed cybersecurity startup that develops an enterprise-grade protection architecture for the Internet of Things (IoT) and private cellular networks.

By integrating existing enterprise defense mechanisms, authentication protocols, and authorization systems directly into private cellular networks, the platform safeguards business-critical transactions and endpoints against sophisticated digital threats.

The company is located in Tel Aviv (highly accessible via both the train and light rail stations) and operates on a hybrid model with one fixed day of remote work.

Position Overview-

• Backend Software Engineer joining a core R&D squad to design, architect, and implement high-throughput, low-latency security infrastructure components entirely from scratch.
• Taking full ownership over end-to-end features, from initial database modeling and API prototyping to high-scale production deployment.
• Engineering distributed, event-driven microservices optimized for heavy transactional loads, real-time data streaming, and asynchronous processing.
• Collaborating with security researchers, network architects, and platform engineering teams to scale cellular telemetry ingestion and endpoint authorization layers.

Requirements-

• 3 years of professional software engineering experience dedicated to building, scaling, and maintaining backend infrastructures for modern software products (Mandatory).
• Strong technical command, hands-on experience, and deep programming proficiency utilizing the Go (Golang) language (Mandatory).
• Practical experience or strong conceptual familiarity working with large-scale data stores, specifically relational systems or graph databases (PostgreSQL, Neo4j) (Preferred).
• Solid engineering grasp of microservices architectures, cloud design patterns, and distributed, event-driven system configurations (Preferred).
• Broad hands-on exposure to container ecosystems and orchestration frameworks, specifically utilizing Docker and Kubernetes (Preferred).
• Experience provisioning or developing software services within public cloud infrastructures, preferably AWS (Preferred).
• Technical proficiency developing high-performance REST APIs, gRPC mechanisms, message brokers (Kafka/NATS), or handling complex server-side API integrations (Preferred).
• Prior technical background or direct exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, Linux system internals, or networking protocols is a significant professional advantage.
