Software Group Leader

A highly successful, global cybersecurity corporation that develops advanced, cloud-native communication platforms designed to enable secure, lightning-fast enterprise connectivity.

Operating at a massive scale with nearly a thousand professionals globally, the enterprise manages high-throughput, safety-critical network infrastructures that support millions of simultaneous corporate connections.

The company is located in Tel Aviv (within short walking distance of the train station) and operates on a hybrid model with flexibility for two days of remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and scaling an agile systems-engineering team while establishing rigorous code quality standards and delivery cadences.
• Developing and optimizing low-level, high-concurrency (multithreaded), and real-time network and security software components using C/C++.
• Engineering high-performance network stack utilities, tunnel management protocols, and encryption interfaces close to the operating system kernel.
• Designing passive and active network monitoring instrumentation to track runtime latency, packet health, and endpoint system performance.
• Managing full product lifecycles from initial low-level architectural design to deployment, production instrumentation, and continuous optimization.
• Technical Domain Exposure C/C++, Linux Systems Programming, Multithreading, Networking Protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, VPN architectures), Real-Time Systems, Endpoint Security, and Cross-Platform Agent Development (Android, Windows, macOS).

Requirements

• 6 years of hands-on professional software development experience deeply focused on low-level systems programming, network engineering, or endpoint security architectures using C/C++ (Mandatory).
• 3+ years of formal experience as a Technical Team Lead driving engineering squads within complex Linux or Windows product environments (Mandatory).
• Deep, in-depth structural knowledge of networking infrastructures, core network protocols, socket programming, and data routing environments (Mandatory).
• Proven track record of taking complete technical ownership over full product lifecycles, from design blueprints to high-scale production deployment (Mandatory).
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline/specialized military R&D background.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with a natural ability to guide teams through intricate architectural challenges in high-pressure environments.
