Data Project Manager | Ramat Gan | Full-time

Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for a Data Project Manager to join a major government organization in Ramat Gan.

This role includes leading the establishment of a cloud-based data platform end-to-end while driving complex technological and data initiatives in a large-scale enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of a cloud-based data platform
• Manage project planning, timelines, task tracking, and progress control
• Coordinate between Infrastructure, Information Security, BI, Development, Core Systems, and Procurement teams
• Manage vendors, contracts, and external stakeholders
• Perform Hands-On technical work, including development of Data Pipelines using Dataform on top of BigQuery
• Establish and manage GCP resources and cloud infrastructure configurations

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience managing technological data projects
• At least 4 years of managerial experience leading project management teams
• Experience in Development, Infrastructure, or Data Engineering
• Experience working with Cloud and AI technologies
• Deep understanding of the data domain, including ELT/ETL, Data Modeling, and databases
• Strong technical, analytical, and leadership capabilities
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments
