Backend Engineer – Cloud & Security (Tel Aviv | Hybrid)

We’re looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join a cutting-edge team building next-generation solutions in the Non-Human Identity (NHI) and token security space.

This role is central to designing and building robust, scalable, and high-performance cloud-native backend systems that secure machine identities across modern ecosystems.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native backend systems focused on secure token and machine identity management
• Build and enhance secure API integrations with third-party systems for data exchange and collection
• Own the architecture of NHI agent services, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and efficient data storage
• Develop monitoring and automation tools to ensure system reliability and performance
• Design and implement large-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions using tools like Spark and Snowflake
• Lead end-to-end feature development from design through deployment and production maintenance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative product capabilities
• Maintain a strong customer-first mindset, translating needs into scalable technical solutions

What you bring

• 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer building scalable distributed systems
• Strong experience with event-driven architectures and microservices
• Solid background in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP/Azure is a plus)
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with messaging/queue systems such as Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ
• Strong understanding of security best practices in distributed and token-based systems
• Bonus: experience with Python or TypeScript, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform or other IaC tools
