Role Description
We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to lead hands-on marketing execution for the French market. This role starts as a maternity leave replacement, with a real option to transition into a permanent position
This is a practical, high-ownership role that combines campaign execution, funnel thinking, lifecycle marketing, content, marketing automation, events, and sales alignment.
All content and market-facing work is done in native French. We’re not translating from Hebrew or English, we're building marketing that speaks to the local French audience natively, with the right tone, references, and market context.
You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing from our Israeli office, coordinate with our local team, partners, and stakeholders in France, and take ownership of day-to-day execution, helping the team move faster, produce stronger marketing assets, and turn ideas into measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaigns, Funnels & Growth Execution: Plan and execute local marketing campaigns for the French market, from messaging and ad copy to landing pages, post-click experiences, and conversion paths. You’ll identify funnel friction, improve lead quality, and help turn marketing activity into measurable pipeline.
- Lifecycle & Marketing Automation: Use ActiveTrail’s own platform to build and optimize onboarding flows, trial-to-paid sequences, re-engagement campaigns, nurture journeys, and smart customer segmentation. The goal is to make our own marketing a strong showcase of what the platform can do.
- Content & Copywriting: Write clear, engaging French copy for landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters, blog content, ads, and marketing assets. You’ll help bring ActiveTrail’s voice to life across local campaigns and create content that delivers real value to marketers, ecommerce teams, and business owners.
- Newsletter & Audience Engagement: Manage the editorial direction and ongoing execution of the local French newsletter, including topic planning, content curation, segmentation, and performance improvement, with the goal of keeping our audience engaged, educated, and connected to ActiveTrail.
- Webinars, Events & Co-Marketing: Lead local webinars, meetups, and co-marketing activities for the French market, from content and speaker coordination to promotion, registration flows, and post-event follow-up. You’ll help turn every event into a broader marketing asset through content, nurture, and sales follow-up.
- Sales Alignment & Pipeline Support: Work closely with the Sales team to improve lead handoff, lead quality, and pipeline contribution. You’ll help create sales enablement materials, support lead scoring and segmentation logic, and make sure marketing activity connects clearly to revenue opportunities.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track campaign performance, lead sources, conversion rates, and funnel behavior to understand which channels, messages, and assets generate the best opportunities. You’ll use data to decide what to scale, what to improve, and what to stop doing.
Qualifications
- Native French: Native / mother-tongue level French. You must write marketing content that reads as naturally French, with proper tone, idioms, and market awareness.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on marketing experience in a SaaS, B2B tech, digital-first company, or marketing agency. Previous experience addressing the French market is an advantage.
- Technical Background: Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, building workflows, triggers, and segments. ActiveTrail experience is a major plus.
- Funnel Literacy: A solid understanding of funnel dynamics - you know how an ad, a landing page, an email sequence, and sales follow-up work together to generate revenue.
- Data-Driven: Comfortable with data. You know your way around an analytics dashboard and use data to guide your next move.
- Internal Communication: Good professional English and/or Hebrew for internal communication.
