Lerman Ben-Shushan Planning Office, established in 2012 by urban planner Gideon Lerman and landscape architect Michal Ben-Shushan, is a multidisciplinary planning firm with expertise in urban, planning, urban regeneration, urban design, strategic, regional, and local planning, infrastructure development, and transportation systems related design. With extensive experience in urban, rural, and landscape planning, the office handles large and small scale master plans, statutory planning, urban regeneration, and open-space design. Based in Tel Aviv-Yafo, the team brings a comprehensive and integrative approach, informed by both practical and academic expertise.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tel Aviv-Yafo for an Urban Planner/Architect. The selected candidate will work on developing and implementing plans in various regional, urban, and environmental plans. Responsibilities include preparing land use proposals, conducting fields from regeneration, impact assessments, contributing to urban development projects, designing infrastructure and transportation systems, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Urban Planning and Regional Planning
• Proficiency in Land Use Planning
• Experience in Planning and\or architecture
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and engage with diverse stakeholders
• Proficient in relevant standards and regulations
• Relevant academic qualifications in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field
• Fluency in both Hebrew and English is highly beneficial
